Nic Weinfeld is both an entrepreneur and a creative artist producing new media.
He wrote, directed and produced his first film when he was 10. His early talent was recognized as he was accepted into the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy which gave him the opportunity to study and learn hands-on in the medium of film. During his time at Interlochen, he worked on over 50 films, directing and writing two films of his own, one of which was accepted into the 2012 Cannes Film Festival American Pavilion. That same year the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts named him, “one of the most promising young filmmakers.” His films have since earned over 38 awards including the the best narrative film and best music video at the Ft. Lauderdale international film festival.
After Interlochen, Nic continued his studies at the University of Southern California’s (USC) Film Production Program.
Currently, he works in the private sector, directing and producing short films, documentaries, and advertisements. Nic brings his innovative entrepreneurial ideas and fresh style in story telling to the growing and ever expanding media industry.
